This scheme is to enable business to move forward and prosper, such as developing a website or enhance an existing website to make use of electronic marketing & trading (e-commerce); or carry out an environmental audit. The grant made will normally be 50% of eligble costs up to a maximum contribution of £1000. Payment will be made to the organisation who has made the application and no work should be undertaken until written approval from the Council is received.

In order to be eligble for consideration under the Scheme, an application must:

• Be a business located within Chichester District and stay within the District for two years after having received the grant
• Have no disputes or payment arrears with the Council
• Not be used for retrospective projects
• Support the creation of a website for a local business that previously had no website of its own or support the enhancement of an existing website or support the introduction of on-line trading
• Provide information upon request to inform us of how the grant has aided your business
