Stage 2 - The Design

Design is the first things we do in the project. Matt will have already spoken to you about  your logo and your corporate image, sites you like and dislike and what will suit your industry. He'll send the design brief to one of our designers - they may call to chat you or come and meet you depending on the project.

Homepage Concept 
Within approx five working days you will receive an initial concept - this is usually for the homepage which is the best place to start. We'll review this with you until you are 100% happy.

Page Styles
Once the homepage concept is signed off we will create a number of further 'page style' examples. Even a website with hundreds of pages will only have maybe six to ten page styles - these are formats that each page in the site can fit to offering consistency and familiarity to the user - keeping it simple to understand the site. Our web packages will have one style across the whole site, larger sites may have up to six styles.

Design Sign Off
We'll need you to sign off each page style for your site. Don't worry too much about the actual wording or images used at this stage - we'll be focusing on whether the layout and style of the site are right for you and your customers. 

To complete this sign off we'll also need to sort out your images and wording. Next stage...
